In collaboration with Work Safe team, we refined the rich content they developed on utilising design thinking to solve problems. Enhancing its presentation through meticulous design choices. We focused on a clear type hierarchy and thoughtful use of icons and colours, choosing high-quality paper stocks to differentiate sections and enhance tactile engagement, making the guidebook not just informative but also a pleasure to explore.

The use of bold symbols as navigational tools also added visual cue's and memorablity to each chapter, with each one having a hero spread that we utilised as posters to be used throughout the Work Safe offices.

The final product was a statement piece; the Design Practice Guidebook. Printed with a vibrant Colorplan Citrine Yellow cover with ecoStar+ recycled stock for the body, which was well-received for its aesthetic and functional design. It successfully positioned the internal design team as a key player in solving business problems, encouraging wider internal engagement in how design can solve problems. This was supported by a customised keynote deck – optimised for screen with custom content that made it more easily digestable on a single slide.
